Role of Multimedia Technology in English Language Teaching

Abstract

Technology offers a plethora of choices for making teaching more engaging and beneficial in terms of improvements. One of the most important forces of social and linguistic change is technology. Moreover, teaching and learning is adaptable. It comes as no surprise that the context can be established not just in the classroom, but also outside of it through Multimedia Technology. Multimedia technology is one of the most important tool to teach English to the students. This study reveals the new and known dimension to implement and execute multimedia technology for English Language Teaching and learning in the classroom.This paper also reveals how Multimedia Technology helps to widen student’s knowledge to gain an insightful understanding to the world.
